Three moms from PPS — supporters of safe indoor air for Oregon classrooms — speak at the Portland Public Schools school board meeting on March 21, 2023. PPS classrooms need more filtration capacity, and a plan for airflow measurements on an ongoing basis. Ventilation and air filtration will reduce absences and learning loss from respiratory viruses and asthma triggers, and it can be done extremely cost-effectively. We need 6 air changes per hour minimum in PPS classrooms.
